After taking an interest in electrical work, he began an apprenticeship in his late teens where he quickly excelled in the program & was then offered a role at a communications company. To further expand his knowledge, he decided to complete his Communications Licensing Exam & obtained a Cisco accreditation. A few years later, Paul found himself in a management role within the company. Always one to challenge himself, he decided to begin his MBA to prepare himself to one day become a director. However, despite his quick success Paul began to realise that what he really wanted to do was run his own business. While he loved the work he was doing, his true passion was creating infrastructure for the future & he wanted to find an outlet to make that happen. In 2004, Paul founded Apex Communication Technologies to help businesses & clients acquire the latest innovations the communications industry had to offer. While the company was originally based out of his Dad’s garage, it quickly grew thanks to a loyal customer base and a lot of hard work. In just a few short years, Apex moved to a commercial complex in Somerton Park & later to an even larger complex in Edwardstown. After securing a major solar project in 2009, Paul incorporated a second company, Apex Energy Australia. As someone who was always interested in building for the future, he wanted to provide customers with better solar & battery energy options. Today, Apex Energy has grown into a national supplier of large-scale commercial solar & storage solutions. Using sophisticated design innovation & smarter construction, the company is able to provide customers with sustainable energy in even the most remote locations.
