Major building projects have been conducted in all these countries as education is seen to be a most effective way to tackle poverty and ignorance. The Lasallian Foundation receives no support from the Government but seeks human and financial resources from the community, especially through its colleges with DeLaSalle history. Volunteers are an important part of the resourcing and this is through school participation with students visiting to do specific tasks ,as well as individual teachers. Australian Rotary has been very supportive in our work in PNG. We are eager to source support from former students of DeLaSalle educational institutions in Australia and within Asia.
