Paul Rank Email & Phone Number | I began my career in the fire service as a Fire Explorer in 2001 with Inver Grove Heights Fire Department Explorer Post 627. After 3 years as a Fire Explorer, I was fortunate enough to be hired as a paid on-call firefighter with the Inver Grove Heights Fire Department. I was privileged to serve for 10 years as an active paid on-call firefighter with Inver Grove Heights Fire in the roles of Firefighter/EMT, Engineer, Training Officer, Fire Inspector, and Company Lieutenant. In October of 2015, I was hired as the full-time Fire Operations Supervisor; the first full-time line position (non-Chief) in the history of the Inver Grove Heights Fire Department. In May 2019 I was promoted to my current full-time position of Shift Captain, and also currently serve as President of Inver Grove Heights Professional Fire Fighters IAFF Local 5251. I also served 4 years, from 2011 to 2015, as an active paid Firefighter/EMT, as well as Field Training Officer, with the Maplewood Fire Department. My goal is, through continuous training and education, to grow as a professional within the fire service and be the best I can possibly be for the organizations, cities, and people that I serve. By doing this, I hope to advance my desire of helping others in my field, by the provision of high-quality training and supportive leadership, to grow and reach their own goals within their respective organizations, as well as contribute forward-thinking, and progressive ideas that will help build the future of the fire service as a whole.
