Paul Keen Email & Phone Number | Having completed academic qualifications in Electrical Engineering at Monash University and Business Management, Paul commenced in product engineering in the Automotive Industry in the late 1980’s with Nissan in the UK and in Australia. Paul subsequently developed his capabilities and experience with multinational auto suppliers in technical and corporate roles working across numerous countries including a 3.5year assignment in Shanghai where Paul was responsible to establish a global technical centre from a green field site responsible for programs with automotive OEM’s in China, Japan, South Korea, US, Australia and Thailand. Upon returning to Australia in 2009 as General Manager for a 30m auto supplier, in which he was tasked to avoid it’s financial collapse for which he successfully achieved in under a year, Paul decided to apply his skills and experiences to opportunities outside of the declining Australian automotive market. In 2010, together with a colleague from the auto industry, gTET was incepted in Cleantech as one of the few global producers of ORC generators. As a start up with virtually no seed funding gTET has been grown into a business with an impressive IP and product portfolio and impressive tier 1 client base all with zero debt. The capabilities learned from automotive’s lean design and supply chain disciplines, flexible manufacture strategies, product quality systems and product innovation have proved highly valued in the industrial Cleantech sector. Paul has demonstrable skills and experience in strategic thinking and demonstrated the rare ability to take innovation from inception to commercialisation. Paul’s experiences successfully operating in corporate positions with large multinationals together with undercapitalised start-ups provide rare and valued capabilities.
