HND qualified, award winner, team builder, motivator and multi-skilled project worker who has managed staff teams to effectively develop, maintain and improve prestige gardens, heritage parks, conservation spaces, country estate landscapes and environmental education facilities to tight schedules and exacting standards. Developed and delivered horticultural training in a variety of settings; including NVQ horticulture training to prison inmates and training people to grow fruit and vegetables. Assisted with opening a youth club in London. Winner of Scottish Widows Award for Community Innovation for successful canal side environmental improvement plan. Successfully worked with a wide range of stakeholders; including community groups, business leaders, sports leaders, head teachers, consultants, landscape architects, local authority departments and environmental trusts. Managed a portfolio of diverse community landscape regeneration schemes to completion. Journalism interests. Former London Editor at New York based Art, Music, Style, Culture magazine; aRUDE - published in depth interviews with fashion designers, artists and musicians such as Manolo Blahnik, Hussein Chalayan, Bella Freud and Talvin Singh. Work experience with The Guardian and Independent on Sunday in Fashion and Garden writing. Founded and edited successful innovative local progressive community news website Swansea News Network, including managing volunteers and acting as Website manager and Editor/Contributor.
