Patricia Fernandez Email & Phone Number | Curious and fascinated about science I have been working in several aspects of biology from biomarker discovery to plant signaling. My research experience has greatly benefited from the various scientific environments I have been surrounded with during the course of my studies and later research. During my PhD I became an expert in plant molecular biology and biochemistry with an especial emphasis in plant stress and defense responses. Currently I´m working in new methodology to discover plant secondary metabolites with hormonal or regulatory function. As an expert in plant science, I have a solid foundation to interpret scientific data an translate it into applied crop research. This is the reason why I want to participate in the development of a more sustainable agriculture in the near future.
