Concretely, this means that I am an Independent Social Science Researcher and Lecturer in Philanthropy (giving, volunteering and associating) connected to ocean issues. I have worked for the IOC (UNESCO), PHILEA and am currently engaged in the Marine Spatial Planning Addressing Climate Effects (MSPACE) research project at University of Essex. SciencesPo Paris is where I teach an original course on Philanthropy and the Ocean and advise students on their civic engagement projects. My consulting work ranges from pedagogy for university courses, contract research for professional associations and stakeholder engagement and workshops. Additionally, I write teaching case studies linked to the SDGS, climate and ocean philanthropy as well as blog posts to share insights and best practices on philanthropic engagement for the ocean environment. A personal website is in the making. A more recent endeavour is to expand my expertise in qualitative methodologies and data analysis - including MAXQDA which incorporates AI. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of philanthropy for the ocean, and I welcome collaboration and dialogue with anyone who shares this interest.
