I am currently working at Dealer Owned Warranty Company (DOWC) as a Financial Analyst in the FP&A team. My responsibilities cater to conducting financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modelling, to support decision-making processes, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements/supporting schedules and presentations for senior management, assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes and evaluating financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights. Previously, I worked at Deutsche Bank for close to 3 years across 2 teams. During this time, my responsibilities included working on revenue reporting, providing competitive benchmarking and performance reports to senior management. Additionally, I actively participated in company-wide initiatives like the Rewards & Recognition framework, aimed at enhancing employee morale, and Project Collaboration, focused on optimizing team efficiency. Driven by my passion for numbers and a strong interest in fixed income during my CFA exam preparation, I chose to join Kroll's Global Business Solutions team, where I worked for over 1.5 years. My primary focus centered on portfolio valuation engagements, particularly related to debt portfolios. I also gained valuable experience in various valuation projects, including Purchase Price Allocation, testing for indicators of intangible asset impairment, and business valuations. I greatly valued the dynamic nature of my position, the client-focused and project-driven work, and the firm's culture. Alongside my tenure at Deutsche Bank and Kroll, I successfully completed all three levels of the CFA program and obtained the charter. I am an inquisitive and proactive individual who enjoys challenging the status quo, delving deep into concepts by asking questions. I am a team player, meticulous in my work, and possess strong analytical skills. I have also pursued a master's degree in finance at Simon Business School, University of Rochester. My experience at Simon has been enriching, having the opportunity to engage in various professional, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, and social clubs, as well as participating in a couple of case competitions.
