Parris Vernon Email & Phone Number | Never would I had imagined being in software sales after operating Nuclear Reactors in the Navy for 8 years. After serving in the U.S. Military for 8 years and supervising 40 sailors in day to day operations , it was time to transition into the "real world" and that is where this unexpectant journey begins. Once my degree was completed my first taste of Corporate America was with a start up out of New York called Makespace. Starting off in operations, I was quickly pegged as the "Yelp" and marketing wizard by the Director of Sales at the company. With this skill set I was later tasked with selling our company to potential investors and venture capitalist, and was touted by one venture capitalist as the reason his company was going to invest 5 million dollars into the company. Needless to say I was employee of the month that month. The growth at Makespace opened up other opportunities at the company where I was named National Training Coordinator. Also had the opportunity as Interim Operations Manager to turn around a failing branch in Chicago. This position required many marketing events to organically grow the company. Within 4 months I was able to double the workforce and triple the monthly revenue of the branch before leaving to help open a new branch in Los Angeles . Needless to say I was named employee of the month yet again. Once growth at the company stalled, I had an opportunity to come work for a software company with amazing growth potential and an industry leader in their space, and I jumped on it. This brings me to my current position today, where I am a Account Manager SLED West SoCal for Veeam Software. I'm looking forward to continued professional growth
