I continued to be an avid reader and writer with a passion for the innate human need to tell and consume stories, which made for an easy decision to work toward a BA in English. While in the program, I found a passion for editing and proofreading stories through creative writing workshop classes and declared a minor in literary editing. My dedication to editing strengthened as I worked on the editorial team of Weber State University's undergraduate literary journal. Upon completion of the program, I decided to continue my studies and pursue a Master of Arts in English. My continued love for literature postgrad inspired me to begin analyzing and writing about the contemporary books I read. There is nothing I love more than the feeling that comes after finishing a stellar book and through my training in both personal and academic settings, I know good writing when I see it.
