My passion is games design in all forms. I live and breathe all kinds of games from AAA blockbusters, to casual games to board-games. As such, I take the quality, fun-factor and playability of the games I work on very seriously. As I've followed a design path for my whole career, this has given me extensive experience in all aspects of game creation. I have written many design, concept and pitch documents from the ground up and have expertise in narrative writing, directing cinematics, storyboarding, camera systems, level design, pacing / balancing and mechanics design. But working with teams to create a strong game vision, and then helping those teams execute, contribute and deliver, is what I enjoy the most. I also teach games design at university level and have done so for the past 14 years. My courses include games design fundamentals, level design and game production. Teaching has also allowed me to hone my presentation skills, when either selling ideas internally, working with external clients, or delivering lectures and MIGS, Ubisoft Campus, Concordia University and SPIN. Throughout my career I have partnered with companies such as Mattel, Hasbro, BBC, CBC, Sky TV (UK), Disney (BVG), Warner Bros, Activision, Konami, NBC, Lucasarts, Majesco, Capcom, Universal and Harmonix.
