I am honored to serve as an advisor, coach, and facilitator focused on equipping leaders, managers, employees, and by and large, all individuals with the tools they need to move forward (in navigating today’s unprecedented times). I am personally equipped with close to two decades of discipline across two disciplines that are close to my heart – HR and Health & Wellness. As the world faces unprecedented times, I have ever so much more clarity on my mission - focus in these two areas given the interdependencies between individual and organizational health & wellness in delivering the mission. As a practical and empathetic Human Resource professional, I take a disciplined approach supporting leaders, managers (corporate and field/front-line), and employees (both exempt and non-exempt) in navigating change. My role is ever so important as we all navigate a new normal consisting of the pandemic and socially charged world that has yet to get a grip on how to navigate the human capital changes necessary in a consumer-centric post-Industrial Digital Age. On the Health & Wellness front, I am personally disciplined and focused on inspiring self-love through fitness. I do this by raising awareness of the correlation between emotional eating, self-esteem, healthy body image, and health and fitness. I am always on the lookout for opportunities to share my own story, having personally built discipline around health and wellness and conquered the Chicago Marathon and fitness competitions. My strengths within the HR discipline include building and implementing HR strategies cross-divisionally, coaching and developing new leaders to effectively manage teams, consulting with senior-level leaders on HR practices to help influence employee engagement, and developing a culture of inclusivity, equity, and belonging within their organization. I am at home in both corporate and field and across all matters HR (exempt and non-exempt). While not by design, my career run includes frontline auto manufacturing plant floor labor and employee relations roles, airline frontline flight attendant and technicians HR management, corporate function business partnering, and non-profit business partner. With my pragmatic, relational, and discipline strengths and approaches, I am well-equipped to continue my journey equipping organizations, teams, and individuals with the discipline to move forward in navigating change – especially in today’s unprecedented times.
