Led a team of 21 staff members to drive portfolio financial growth. - Promoted to Area manager, gained extensive experience to run the branch banking,personal markets including Private banking and SME segment. Led the Bethlehem area to grow financial growth,market share,external market presence across segments, led a team of senior managers to grow their local markets and drive high performance teams. - Promoted to Head Provincial Sectors for Free State and Northern Cape. I had the opportunity to lead a team of sector specialist Heads to execute on the respective sector strategies ( Public, Agriculture, Franchising, Health Care, Legal, Education and Accounting Sector) including the value propositions for Renewable Energy and Shariah banking . I gained a lot of skills in terms of developing strategies, stakeholder engagements both internally and externally, People management including coaching to drive financial and market share growth across segments. My skills were strengthened specifically on strategic and critical thinking , open communication skills,Flexibility, Ecosystems thinking and drawing the bigger picture for the teams to grow the Business. I thrive in developing strategies and driving the execution there of through people. I have built a strong brand for myself in the Banking industry and continue to mentor and guide individuals in the industry to accelerate their careers. I have been assigned to various projects for the Standard Bank to Africa to assist in driving business through Ecosystems and stakeholder management in Nigeria and also visited Kenya to understand how certain companies have managed to grow their profitability and market presence through shared value. In these immersions the focus was also on developing strategies to support and grow business in the SME market and leading in the corporate industry.
