I do not know exactly what to expect in this field, but I am ready to dive right into it and learn everything I can. I went to school for computer technology; the focus was more so on coding and building a website, but I realized graphic design and user experience was more of my calling. Art has always been a part of my life and I enjoy getting messy with paint, but to be able to take art and design and put it to use with technology is like having my cake and eating it too. I want to be able to have a career with my two greatest loves: art and the internet. Good user experience and design take place when the user does not realize it. I want to further my skills and make beautiful websites, application interfaces, and advertisements/publications in such a way that the user isn't heavily burdened with trying to figure out something new. My inner mantra while designing is: "Can my mother figure this out?"
