Successfully increased sales, market share and revenue -- highest in the 11 year history of TVS in the region by (i) entering new countries (ii) supporting existing distributors to expand network and business (iii) cracking institutional deals in Mexico, Brazil (iv) selecting people with the right experience and attitude to help the team grow. Previous stint in TVS was as Regional Business Head for South Asia where I successfully managed to deliver 20% increased volumes and gained 2% MS despite export closure to Sri Lanka (contributed to 25% of region's busines before closure) by (i) identifying opportunities in terms of products to improve business in Nepal, Bangladesh (ii) helping the distributors focus on scooters and motorcycles segments separately and gain significant MS in scooter segment (iii) proactively plan 360 degrees marketing for festivals season (Eid, Dashain) (iv) cracking institutional deals in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Key achievements: TVS became No 1 in scooter segment in FY 20-21. TVS's growth in Nepal became the highest among all countries in terms of MS among all key countries. While in Hero, my last assignment was to increase overall business operations of Hero MotoCorp in East & Central Africa. Market entry, distributor identification, new product introduction and business consolidation in the existing markets happened during my tenure. 56% and 80% YoY growth registered in the 2W segment while spare parts grew by more than 100% in the both the fiscal of FY 17 and FY 18 respectively. Previously, responsible for sales, customer service, spare parts business and assembly line functioning of Hero MotoCorp in Bangladesh for 2 years during which Hero entered the country and gradually grew to No. 2 position in the industry. Effecting the brand transition from Hero Honda to Hero MotoCorp with the help of a slew of ATL and BTL activities all over the country. Prior to Hero MotoCorp, I was managing the Passenger Car operations for Tata Motors in Bangladesh and Myanmar - relatively virgin territories when it comes to new car sales as both are heavily dependent on used cars from other countries. For Myanmar, I was closely monitoring the political and economic scenario in the country along with the movements of other auto OEM's in order to build a strong platform for TML. Specialties: 1.
