Within the team, I sustain team relationships by supporting others within the team for example I successfully helped to train and orientate in a new Higher Executive Officer colleague who joined the team. I showed the new HEO, through coaching and desk training, how Ministerial visits abroad were put together and planned also including how visiting programmes are put together. I developed a good working relationship within my team, in their absence I have seen through their work. I have worked as a Fraud Officer/Court Liaison officer investigating new referrals, interviewing under caution. before passing the file to the crown prosecution unit. I also liaised with outside bodies (Local Authorities, Customs and Excise, police, participating in raids, being briefed and de-briefed at local police stations etc…). I held my own prosecution files and attended local courts (Waltham Forest magistrate and Snaresbrook crown) as a representative for the department. While in court I collected written summary of the outcome of each case and on my return to the office would immediately write a full report. I am PINS trained and have also had court etiquette training. .
