Nigel served as a District Chief from 1997 to 2012 responsible for the Village of Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, Loxahatchee Groves, & the Indian trails Improvement District (2006-2012); Boynton Beach, Delray Beach areas (2001-2006); & served as the Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue (PBCFR) Public Information Officer, Communications Center Chief & PBCFR Staffing Officer (1996-2001). Nigel also served as the District Vice President (DVP) for the IAFF Palm Beach County Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Local 2928 (2010-2012). Nigel has also functioned as the Division Chief of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, PBC EOC- Emergency Services Branch Director (ESF4, 9, 10, 16), and the PBC F/R Liaison for the Southeast Regional Fusion Center.
