He recently completed a second monograph titled, Conrad’s Secret Shadow: Catastrophe, Mimesis, Theory (Michigan State UP, 2016); New) Fascism: Contagion, Community, Myth (Michigan State UP, 2019); Homo Mimeticus: A New Theory of Imitation: Leuven UP, 2022). His next books are a diptych titled, Violence and the Oedipal Unconscious and Violence and the Mimetic Unconscious.
