I was then recruited by USAA insurance as a field appraiser and worked there for four years before they relocated to Scottsdale Arizona. I then went to work for Nationwide insurance as a quality assurance specialist. I assisted in on boarding of new associates and training associates who had performance issues to get them back on track. My team held calibrations all over the country and I traveled all over the country auditing for state compliance and best claim practices. After eight years in that role I jump to the leadership side and had a team of anywhere from 9 to 11 associates. We were a high-performing team with the highest engagement scores three years running solid CSI and the top two percentage of quality numbers. I feel my impact on the organization as a whole as well as the associates that were under me thrived under my leadership. My reputation was known as tough but firm and fair. Associates that came up under me went on to bigger roles and were successful in their performance. My position was eliminated this last March but I am thankful for everything Nationwide has taught me and provided me for myself and my family. I am now ready to move on and learn new skills while bringing my skills with me to a new organization where I can continue to grow.
