This natural, comfortable feeling I have with new people has definitely led to me having a heart for helping people. I know that it has even helped me tremendously in all of my volunteer work. And it is the main reason why I've decided to become a School Counselor. I have years of experience working with children and, thanks to that, I was accepted to attend The College of New Jersey to work on my Masters in Counseling. I graduated in May 2018, joined the Chi Sigma Iota's Honor Society, and was awarded Student Scholar of the Year. I am currently a long-term leave replacement School Counselor at Mount Pleasant Middle School in Livingston, NJ. I am job searching so I can take everything I've learned from Livingston's wonderful environment and implement into a comprehensive school counseling program. To say the least, I am extremely excited to begin this journey where my skills and my passions meet. I view it as an honor to get to help people as a career. Personally, I am also a huge animal lover and animal rights advocate, modern calligraphy novice, traveler, and about to be married!
