After traveling the world, from Dubai to Hong Kong, Nicola used her newly developed business network and meticulous attention to detail to launch a career in design and marketing. After studying in France and then graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in International Business, Ford set her sights on the world of e-commerce. Having been affiliated with the fine jewelry industry since 1995, Nicola began her love affair with gems. Her love of fine jewelry ultimately led to her introduction to fashion jewelry, which she felt was more accessible to everyone. Her newfound passion for designer jewelry resulted in the launch of HAUTEheadquarters.com in 2012, where she exclusively edits an extraordinary compilation of faux and fine designer jewelry available to women of all walks and budgets of life. Through her online boutique, HAUTEheadquarters, Nicola Ford offers a collection of hand-selected jewelry that combines current trends with classic, timeless elegance, from simple and delicate, to chunky statement stoppers. The website carries jewelry worn by celebrity A-listers such as Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Kate Hudson and Jennifer Lopez, as well as Bravo-lebrities, Kyle Richards and Heather Dubrow, just to name a few. HAUTEheadquarters is currently host to brands such as Kenneth Jay Lane, Elizabeth Cole, Melinda Maria, and has graced the covers of: Cosmopolitan For Latinas and has also held the spotlight in magazines like People StyleWatch and InStyle. Nicolas earring designs have been featured on Maye Musk in a Harper's Bazaar Mexico. Nicolas most recent brand creation Georgie Quinn Jewelry made its debut on Anthropologie.com in Summer 2024. Nicola currently resides between Houston, Texas and London, England. She dedicates her days to building and replenishing the accessories collection carried on her website for glamorous women across the globe to shop from, and frequently sets time aside to advocate and volunteer with inner city youth. Nicola is also an active board member of Victory Houston.
