Nico Govender Email & Phone Number | So just to summarize my journey.I started off as an assistant technician for Rainbow Chicken, location hammers-dale Durban my job entailed plant and machinery maintenance in defrosting conditions that enabled me to multitask and respond both physically and mentally, my second job however was completely different experience as i drifted into the telecommunications environment as a sale consultant first at Vodacom, my job entailed stock control as well as direct sale.I had to meet targets and perform under pressure, face to face interaction increased my confidence and capabilities in responding to meet customers needs.I went on to work for an international contact centre based in Durban,umhlanga as I was confident in my abilities retain existing customers as well as making sales, while maintaining service level agreements I completed a NQF Level 4 qualification in the contact centre operations whilst maintaining excellent customer experiences.There after a year in I realized that I needed to work smarter to achieve a more sustainable working environment-as the contact center was occupying most of my time.I decided financially I would risk it and decided to further my knowledge by studying electrical engineering,after completing my studies i went on to work for a company known as Business Connexion (BCX) The company was very welcoming and my new position was Onsite IT Technician,in my second month of working for the company i promoted to Senior Technician and realized that this was the perfect job for me.Having worked for the company for more than two years now I have no regrets on the decisions I've made to get where I am today.
