My specialties were topographic mapping, and surveying at construction sites. In 1995 I've switched to an office job in mapmaking, using serveral GIS packages, and perform 2D and 3D Geodetic calculations. For a short period I became an executive manager of a small department at the office in Amsterdam. Finally my last job at Fugro was as a GIS-consultant until september 2001. I started working for the Municipality of Amsterdam in september 2001 as a system administrator in GIS and CAD-systems, combined with activities in consulting in Geo-information. After 2 years I stopped with the activities concerning system administration and completely focussed on consulting tasks in Geo-information ,database development, and application development. At the moment application architecture and system development, the Key registrations, and information architecture is keeping me busy in Amsterdam, never a boring day... Hobby's. Mmm, beside my family and study at the VU; Hiking, climbing, and Astronomy.
