Having been involved with large scale developments in the Far East in the 1990's, since 2000 I have worked as a central London developer primarily involved in the large scale mixed use regeneration schemes at Paddington Basin and more recently at King's Cross with Argent. This experience has given me a passion not just for great buildings, but for creating great places. The involvement at King's Cross has been an extraordinary and varied experience, involving the full range of issues that come with a diverse, complex city centre development of c.8m sq ft. My specific role on the King's Cross development is to lead the Commercial teams which covers the design, promotion, leasing and on-going management of the office, retail and hotel activities. Beyond King's Cross, Argent is active in both Birmingham and Manchester and new developments are coming forward in both cities. We are also looking at new opportunities in London. Sharing knowledge between our teams and developments is vital and as a group of partners we regularly spend time reviewing and considering proposals and ideas with our team before they come to fruition. Ultimately, we're working towards the future growth and further success of Argent as a partnership and to ensuring that the business continues to deliver unique, sustainable and ultimately profitable developments. I'm a board member for the British Council for Offices, sit on their Urban Group and act as a London & South East judge for the annual awards. I'm also a member of both the RIBA and BCSC. Outside of Argent I'm a keen cyclist and sit on the executive committee of Cycle to Mipim.
