Often, I can use this information to point them in the right direction so that they may be able to reach their own career aspirations. This passion comes from my own past. Over 20 years ago, I began my own care as a production operator. My manager at that time saw my strengths in collecting and analyzing data, then making decisions based on that data. He encouraged me to pursue my education and pointed me in the right direction. Due to this push I was able to complete my bachelor’s degree while working as a full-time operator. Once I completed my degree, I began the process of moving into a managerial role. This was a slow move, but I did not give up, eventually moving into a position in which I manage forty direct reports. My drive to help others also comes from my personal life. My wife and I decided many years ago to homeschool our children. This has taught me that not everyone learns the same way or responds to the same motivations. Each of my children have different interests and strengths; this has allowed me to learn different ways to help them reach their own goals. I am a person who is driven to help others. I want to see other people succeed in life and reach their full potential. I believe my professional and personal life has given me the knowledge base to do this.
