I began my career at the Postal Service as an entry level clerk that only worked four hours a day at a small town rural post office. Within four months of employment I was promoted to a career clerk position that allowed me to travel to many most Post Offices within 50 miles of my domiciled office. I was referred to as “the most wanted man in all of the 456 district.” I made a significant reputation for myself as an employee. Within 4 years I was promoted to OIC (Officer in Charge) Postmaster and then fill-in supervisor positions. After a year in pre-management where I was over as little as 15 employees and as many as 97 employees, I took the role as a Form 50 Supervisor. I have been in an official supervisor role for the Postal Service now for over one year, where I manage 25+ employees. My direct superior is also the fill in MPOO (Manager Post Office Operations) on many occasions where I will then fill in for his position. I recently just achieved my Lean 6 Sigma Yellow Belt. I am a long time member of my local church, where I began volunteering in the nursery, then teaching the children’s ministry, on to teaching youth group. I am now pursuing to be an associate Pastor at Christ’s Community Church. I recently graduated with my Bachelors in Christian Apologetics and I am currently in the preparatory work of beginning my Masters where I plan to achieve my MDIV and continue on to pursue my Doctorate in religious studies. I have a passion for ministry, apologetics, pastoring, and numbers. I find number crunching therapeutic and I am constantly running numbers whether it be for work, the church, or even our budget at home. I find enjoyment in reading, discipling, playing the occasional video game, fishing, and playing trading card games (back to the number crunching). I am happily married to my wife who also recently graduated with her degree in Theological and Biblical Studies. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Biblical Family and Marriage Counseling. I am also a father to a beautiful little girl, who is just as passionate about Jesus as she is about horses and makeup. I am looking to further my career preferably in a line of work that involves ministry, or one that will allow me time to pursue Pastoral duties.
