Meat production, specifically, has caused tremendous damage to the world's ecosystems, but the production of meat does not have to be abusive. In fact, raising animals for meat can actually be an incredibly effective tool in restoring the environmental balance. I want Moomaw Family Farm to be an example of how to produce meat that benefits the environment, provides the most humane lives for the animals, feeds a lot of people amazing and healthy meat, and also affords a good quality of life for the farmers.
