In 2012 Nathan moved to the Cayman Islands to build MD Cayman, a commodity focused hedge fund. Nathan’s theoretical and practical experience in portfolio management and trading, risk, derivatives and clearing allowed him to make the natural transition to the corporate governance industry as an independent director at ManagementPlus (Cayman) and currently at Atlantic Directors. Examples of strategies within Nathan’s portfolio of clients include L/S Equity, Global Macro, Special Situations Distressed Debt, Crypto Currency and Aviation. Nathan is an Accredited Director with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Canada (ICSA) and is a registered director with CIMA, pursuant to the Directors Registration and Licensing Law, 2014.
