Experience also includes implementation of rule changes impacting generation asset control systems. My background also extends to the understanding of the NEM HV grid through roles in AEMO, ABB, VPX and SECV. Regulatory: I am well versed in liaising with AEMO, AER, NSPs and the AEMC. I am a sitting member of the NEMOC. I have also managed many generation & storage NEM registration processes for EnergyAustralia. My knowledge of the National Electricity Rules in the area of markets and generation performances is extensive. Commercial: I have trading experience in many areas of the wholesale energy markets (NEM, DWGM in Victoria, STTM). This includes the areas of dispatch / bidding of generators, managing gas flows from suppliers through to markets and generators, managing dispatch & settlement data, management of major capacity contracts, wholesale settlement reconciliation and contract settlement processes. These combined provide me with a unique perspective into the wholesale operations of an energy business and the ability to solve problems/issues, while engaging with the appropriate regulatory stakeholders.
