I always strive to build a relationship with my patients to enhance trust and exceed their expectations. I make it my mission to promote and sustain organic leadership by maintaining positive peer-leader relationships and supporting the goals of my colleagues. I currently intern at Beaumont Dearborn Outpatient Pharmacy. Some of my most insightful experiences here include bedside deliveries and MTMs. As a striving pharmacist, being accessible to patients and having a direct impact on their health brings me so much joy. This only solidified my passion for direct patient care. Throughout undergraduate and pharmacy school, I took advantage of all the opportunities around me and took on many leadership positions. Being president of Lambda Kappa Sigma helped me to empower other women in the pharmacy profession and help enhance their intellectual, leadership, and professional skills so they can reach their maximal potential and strive for their personal best. Pharmacy advancements I am excited to see in the upcoming years include collaborative practices and prescriber rights. I believe pharmacists can have a big impact on a patient’s health and I’m very excited to see where the field of pharmacy will grow and evolve into.
