Nader Sanhurry Email & Phone Number | I have a Ph.D. and Master’s degrees in Curriculum and Instruction (Science Education & Educational Technology) from the University of Minnesota, USA. Initially, I worked as a research associate at the University of Minnesota and as a faculty member at several other Universities including the UAE University, Menufiya University in Egypt, Al-Ain University of Science and Technology, and AlGhrair University in the UAE. In my teaching assignments, I taught several courses such as Educational Technology, School Curricula, Methods of Teaching Science, Educational Research Methodologies, Classroom Management and Teaching Diversified Learners to mention just a few. Also, I supervised student teachers in the schools of both the UAE and Egypt. Additionally, I supervised master’s and PhD’s students towards the obtaining of their advanced degrees (MA & Ph.D.). Furthermore, I seved as a member in the National Committee for developing the Colleges of Education in Egypt. I participated in conducting large scale studies in developing educational programs and worked for getting accreditation for these programs from national and international accreditation organizations such as the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) in the UAE as well as from previously NCATE and now CAEP in the USA. On the other hand, I served the community by conducting several workshops and consultations based on the Universities’ rules and values. My interests focus on the areas of e-learning, technology applications in education, standards (in educational technology, technology education and science education), performance assessment as well as educational program development and accreditation processes.
