Prior to joining the university,I worked as a post doctor researcher for the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering at Zhejiang University in P.R.China focusing on multiphase reactor design. I have over two years practical industrial work experience in the Zambian mining sector. The highlight of my industrial experience is the successful commissioning of the Outotec direct to blister Nchanga Smelter in Chingola,Zambia. My research interests are in multiphase reactor design for the production of clean energy, bio-energy, fuels, chemicals and petrochemicals using advanced experimental techniques such as acoustic emission technique, particle image velocimetry (PIV), pressure fluctuation analysis and computational tools namely computational fluid dynamics.
