On the USAID-funded Health Systems 20/20 project, Dr. Islam coordinated the publication of the Health Systems Assessment Approach: A How-To Manual – assessments have been conducted in over 25 countries using the manual. Dr. Islam has presents at international conferences, coordinates and facilitates workshops, and participates in cross-agency working groups and steering committees.
