In my current role as a Risk Engineer in the Asset Management department, I manage the operational risk portfolio for one of the gas carrying assets at Enbridge Gas Distribution. This year, I contributed to creating the first 10-year multi-million dollar asset plan for Enbridge Gas. I’ve been with Enbridge for 5 years and worked in various groups beside Asset Management, including Process Safety and Engineering. Prior to Enbridge, I spent few years across various functional roles at Suncor Energy. I started as Intern in the Process Automation group at the Sarnia Refinery then moved to their Oil Sands Operation (Fort McMurray). My work there was primarily focused in the areas of Long and Short Range Planning, Crude Quality and Blending, Crude Oil Production and Process Optimization. I’m a licensed Professional Engineer with a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University and hold a PMP certificate. On my free time, I’m focused on putting my passion and skills to good use by supporting Professional Engineer of Ontario – Mississauga Chapter to mentor engineers in training and promote engineering to students. I aim to incorporate my problem solving skills and industry experience to implement Risk Management across Enbridge.
