SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS Tax Due Diligence of Project Willows As a manager I was involved in the following • project planning • meeting with the client to decide the scope of work • review of the tax structure • review of tax losses that would remain available for utilization to the merged Company • review of open tax Assessments/Audits/Disputes/ Correspondence/Litigations with all relevant Tax authorities and potential/probable tax exposures • reviewed proper recognition of tax (Current/ Deferred tax) in financial statements • analyzed cross border transactions • reviewed the capital structure and thin capitalization implications • conducted various meetings with the legal advisors, financial due diligence consultants and transaction advisors to incorporate the impact of tax due diligence in the business plan • reviewed the business plan along with various assumptions used for the proposed merged company Management services to BHP Petroleum (Pakistan) Pty Ltd. • Preparation and filling of monthly withholding tax statement • Preparation and filling of monthly sales tax return • Facilitating client in weekly payment of income tax withheld
