  Msod Niki Childers is a I have spent the last 20 years in the Education and Nonprofit world with much of my work centered around teaching, training, and professional development of educators and Nonprofit staff. For the past ten years I have had the opportunity to work for the national Nonprofit Jobs for America’s Graduates, both at the state and local level. Beginning my journey in the classroom working with high school youth, to leading staff as a Regional Director, to creating a training and professional development process for all incoming JAG Specialists (educators) across the state of Kansas. My work led me to the national team where I co-developed it’s learner-centered approach that supports its young people obtaining employability skills. Since 2020, I have worked in Development, beginning as the Director of Partnerships, bridging relationships between JAG National’s employer partners and its state affiliates. After evolving in this position, I became the Director of Corporate Development. In this role, I oversaw all of the organizations private sector relationships,both current and future, working closely with JAG’s EVP & COO (now President) on all fundraising efforts, and develop strategies to expand its portfolio. Current relationships include Hilton, SHRM, Microsoft, Honeywell, Lowe’s, IHG, Regions Bank, Synchrony, T. Martzetti, AT&T, ADM to name a few. In my current role as Senior Director of Strategic Growth & Corporate Initiatives, I work with corporate partners on employment engagement strategies that will connect them to young talent.
