I believe that entrepreneurship and education are powerful vehicles to help alleviate youth unemployment. In my career as an auditor I worked on clients within various industries including Motor retail, Mechanical Equipment and Machinery manufacturing, Industrial Manufacturing, Platinum mining sector, Information Technology, Aviation industry, public service NPO, Commercial Retail, Healthcare and Financial Services. I am the founder and Chairperson of Miss Empowered which is an NPO that seeks to help young girls transition from high school to university. Within the Miss Empowered umbrella we have now established "A Seat at the Table" which focuses on equipping Young Professionals with an arsenal of tools to advance their career trajectory. Co-Founder at Building Blocks (Pty) Ltd which provides entrepreneurship training to high school students as a means of enterprising themselves and alleviating youth unemployment.
