Morgane Stum Email & Phone Number | Fellowship from the Fondation pour la Recherche Medicale; The genetic mechanisms of tRNA-synthetase related to peripheral neuropathies • Engineered a genetically modified mouse model of Dominant Intermediate Charcot-Maire-Tooth type C (DI-CMTC), by introducing a human mutation in Tyrosyl-tRNA-synthetase (Yars) using the recombineering cloning technique. • Characterized the neurological phenotype of different mouse models of human diseases with mutations in Yars (DI-CMTC), Gars (CMT2D), SOD1 (ALS) and Pycr2 (Cutis Laxa) • Developed an in vitro model of Dominant Charcot-Marie-Tooth type 2D (CMT2D), using embryonic-stem-cell-derived motor neurons expressing a mutation in Glycyl-tRNA-synthetase (Gars) and a Hb9:YFP transgene. • Studied multiple hypotheses to understand the pathological mechanisms linking tRNA- synthetases to axon degeneration in a mouse model of CMT2D with a Gars mutation. • Mapped a mutation in Pycr2 gene in a mouse model of cutis laxa, using MIT/SSCP markers combined with Sanger and high-throughput sequencing. Revealed and characterized the skin phenotype in Pycr2-/- mice. Tested the mice for neurobehavioral abnormalities. Developed an in vitro model to study the sensitivity to oxidative stress, using skin fibroblasts.-Define scope, goals and deliverables for contract mouse breeeding services -Prepare quotations -Responsible for the overall project coordination, execution and completion -Budget invoicing and forecasting. • Analytical review of accounts to determine appropriate outreach methods • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships from a remote setting • Making recommendations for potential new products and services to solve unmet needs • Providing consultative solutions and required support to customers • Developing approaches to increase awareness and close business for transactional breeding products • Providing regional management including planning, implementation of plans and reporting of results • Developing territory business plans based on revenue targets and strategic goals.
