From 2008 to 2018, my wife BriAnne and I had been helped by our Edward Jones Financial Advisor in many areas: preparing for our retirement, investing an inheritance, planning for our son's education, and even helping with our health insurance. Our lives were on a much better path since beginning our relationship with Edward Jones. At the start of winter break in 2017, my Financial Advisor called and wanted to have a meeting. He presented the opportunity to come to work for Edward Jones and continue doing what I love: teaching, building relationships, and helping people. My established process involves discovering each person's priorities and compiling an individualized plan to achieve that goal. Working together, we establish a strategy that can be adjusted as unexpected events occur throughout their lives. I grew up in Bonner Springs, KS and graduated from Kansas State University in 1993. I started my teaching career in St. Marys, KS and moved to Council Grove, KS to become the boys basketball coach. While in Council Grove I met my future wife BriAnne who accepted a position at the Miami County Republic in Paola. We moved here in 2001 and eventually both of us became teachers at Paola High School. Prior to having our son Rex, we moved to Linn Valley, KS in 2004. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, golfing, and cooking. BriAnne, Rex, and I love being members of the Linn County and Miami County communities.
