I am deeply familiar with Australian and NSW privacy legislation. My privacy experience includes assisting clients with conducting privacy impact assessments and audits, advising on the use and leverage of 'big data', crafting tailored privacy policies and notices, developing robust privacy and data protection clauses and advising clients on how to mitigate and respond to data breaches, including compliance with the Commonwealth notifiable data breaches scheme. I have gained significant in-house experience by undertaking secondments with different government agencies, including as the Relieving Principal Legal Officer at the Department of Education and as the Acting Legal Counsel at Transport for NSW. At the start of my legal career I was the Legal Associate to His Honour John Pascoe AC CVO, former Chief Judge of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and Family Court of Australia.
