I am particularly interested in exploring the psychological aspects of chronic pain, measuring pain-related difficulties, and addressing the unique needs of juveniles experiencing chronic pain. Recently, my work has revolved around understanding the psychological model of the transition from acute to chronic pain in injured workers. I conducted a prospective study and gained valuable insights into this transitional process. Building upon this knowledge, I developed a self-compassion-based intervention for chronic pain management. I am eager to apply my therapeutic skills and contribute to a multidisciplinary psychological service centre that values collaboration and innovation. In addition to my professional aspirations, I am motivated to expand my skill set continually.
