After having finished over 1000 cases of basic angiography and angioplasty techniques, I was offered the opportunity to obtain the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certificate. I became certified as of November 2016 (Reg. ID. 00094766), becoming the first to obtain these credentials in the Lebanon . This prompted the start of the Constructive Cardiology program at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, which allowed me to work on more delicate and advanced procedures. Such procedures included, but are not limited to, Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) procedures, pediatric congenital closure techniques, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), mitral clip, Watchman procedure, Melody procedure, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and paravalvular leak closures. I also have experience in the electrophysiology laboratory, with procedures including electrophysiology studies, ablation and cryoablation procedures, 3D mapping, and pacemaker insertion. Finally, as of date, I am BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified.
