My early career began as a junior geologist conducting mapping of hydrocarbon, gold, tin, and tungsten mineral exploration in various parts of the Sudan, Nuba Mountains and the Red Sea Hills with GRAS & the University of Mainz, Germany. This was followed by an internship working on structural interpretation & prospect generation for ExxonMobil Production Research Company, Houston, TX. Upon completion of my PhD dissertation in 1991, I accepted a geologist post with ARCO Alaska, Anchorage, working with the Kuparuk river field, Beluga River, Kalubic and Pretty Creek teams, drilling wells and building 3D static models describing sedimentary lithofacies & anisotropies affecting reservoir behavior. After 5 years with ARCO & drilling tens of wells in North Slope, I joined ADNOC Group in the UAE where I worked on development of the Lower Cretaceous Thamama carbonate rocks of the 4th largest field, ZAKUM. I also spent several years in the Far East consulting for Petronas Cargali, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where I concluded successful appraisal of offshore gas reservoirs in the Malay basin of the South China Sea. More recently in the last 11 years, I worked for PDO/Shell Company in Oman, FracGeo LLC & Frontline Resources LLC in Denver, Colorado, in various capacities, as VP geosciences, development planner, project manager with responsibilities involved reservoir heterogeneity analysis & secondary/tertiary (EOR/IOR) hydrocarbon recovery mechanisms. Today, as a the founder/CEO of Frontline Resources LLC, I am selfemplyed & provide consultation to improve field development of conventional & unconventional oil & gas reservoirs. Also works on a wide range of business initiatives including education & training.
