Mitchell West Email & Phone Number | In 2011 I received my AA in Architecture from Spokane Community College. Very quickly I realized, while I enjoyed drafting, I didn't care much for the industry and I moved back home to South Orange County/ Los Angeles. While there I helped the start up of my father and uncle's business, Get-a-Pet.com. I did many things for this company including: Event coordinating, Graphic design, Social media marketing(amateur-level), Event site plot coordinating, and so on. A major life event spelled the end of Get-a-pet very sadly and so I had to move on. Since then I've expanded my experience into all areas of front-end retail, retail remodeling/merchandizing, fixture and sign installations, customer service(front and back end),Pharmacy tech assistance, etc... My Hobbies include all things automotive! I love working, modifying and tinkering on my own vehicles and helping friends do the same with theirs. I grew up on a computer, I love CAD and modeling programs. My high school electives were computer repair, CAD, CNC and lathe. I've always chosen computer related extra curricular activities and classes. I also love photoshop. Every square inch of photoshop and vector drawing I've learned was on my own for my own self interest. I taught myself numerous programs including google sketch up when it was new. I love video games as well. when I was a kid I use to play around with the image files and created my own custom designs for in-game weapon textures in games like Halo. I've come to realize that my passion lies in tech, I've always loved the industry and everything I love to do seems to have techy undertones! So I've decided to do a career flip and I'm now pursuing a life in tech. Currently I'm learning Web Development and programming, but I plan to expand to much more!
