Mirella Pirskanen Email & Phone Number | As a result of years of various artistic collaborations with among others the world famous Cirque du Soleil in the show 'Dralion', Holiday On Ice in the show 'In Concert', the legendary Dutch band Flairck and the internationally successful acrobatic dance ensemble Bencha Theater, Mirella has become an experienced and versatile performer with a strong stage personality. She developed her own special way of playing the violin and singing at the same time. Her solo program 'VioVoce' consists of her own compositions and of arrangements of Finnish and Scandinavian folklorical pieces coloured by classical music and East European grooves. Mirella'scollaborations include various classical and light music orchestras, ensembles and music theater productions. In the autumn of 2013 Mirella toured with the three Dutch Baritons as the concertmaster of Dutch orchestra, L' Orchestra Particolare. In the spring of 2015 Mirella was part of the farewell tour of the Dutch singer and poet Thé Lau and his band the Scene as a member of the Pavadita String Quartet. In the spring of 2016 Mirella spent a month in China performing with the Dutch Amsterdam Chamber Orchestra. Her position was the alternate leader of the second violin group. Since 2018 Mirella is the concertmaster of Czaar Peter Operette Orkest. Mirella played in several (television) galas/programs such as: John Kraaijkamp Musical Awards, Pink Ribbon gala, Musical Christmas special with Chantal Jansen and co, Op zoek naar Joseph (2008), the Dutch Football Player of the Year gala. She appears on the cd's of various artists among which Mathilde Santing. Since October 2014 Mirella teaches violin and viola at the Dutch foundation het Leerorkest. She also has her own music practice Muziekpraktijk MuSis teaching violin,viola an piano for adults and children from 4 years of age.
