Mike Verdun is a I've been in IT for 40 years - I've seen a great deal of change across the whole of the industry from the advent and rise of the Personal Computer in the 80's through the Object Orientation fixation in the 90's, past the Millennium Bug in 2000 and now into the explosion of personal, mobile and ubiquitous access for everyone and the sudden emergence of AI for all. I've a huge store of knowledge, skill and experience across the whole of IT and I'm now using all of it for Humberside and South Yorkshire Police - I've been Voice and Data Network Manager and I'm currently ITSO, Cyber Security Manager, Risk & Governance Manager, Change Manager and one of IT's Major Incident Managers - a busy and complex role that I'm thoroughly enjoying. One day soon I'll get round to writing that book...
