After Axcel Management acquired Orion Diagnostica, the carve-out activities kept me busy. Moreover, the work with the board and the private equity has further enlarged my general business understanding. Before Orion Diagnostica, I worked for Orion Corporation. I put structure and practices in place and led supply chain and production development. I improved processes by continuous improvements and by development projects. The highlight was when I and my team designed the lay-out and processes for a new packaging and distribution center of Orion Corporation in Salo. My personal and professional experience have thought me that you will always be remembered for how you treat people. I appreciate dealing with everyone in a fair and open matter, getting things done right at the first time and showing empathy: ability to listen and understand others’ view when making decisions. My colleagues describe me energetic, ambitious, and open. My strengths are logical thinking, prioritization and number-orientation. I’m able to understand complex systems and to divide whole picture into executable tasks. I inspire people by communicating objectives and common picture. For example, I wrote a weekly newsletter in Orion Diagnostica. Everyone got the same topical information. I discussed matters in an open way and explained also difficult issues. These newsletters were one of the most popular items on the Intranet.
