On the hardware side I am familiar with Fused deposition modeling( FDM ) Stereolithography( SLA ) and PolyJET technology, specifically OBJET printers from Stratasys. I try to understand the technologies that we use on an in depth level. Everything from the math behind the CAD models that get built to the sensors that capture photons in our 3d scanning devices. And on the human side I do my best to understand the motivations that drive the ambitions of my co-workers.
