He was also a member of the Network of Social Studies on Disaster Prevention in Latin America (La Red); Regional Coordinator of the CGIAR Challenge Programme on Water and Food (CPWF); Executive Director of the Consortium for the Sustainable Development of the Andean Ecoregion (CONDESAN); Coordinator of the Mountain Forum Global Node; Member of the Board of the International Mountain Society (IMS, Switzerland) and Chair of the Board of the Permanent Seminar on Agricultural Research (SEPIA, Peru). He was also Director of Knowledge Management at the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC); and President of ALTAMIRA-Peruvian Group of Academic Libraries. He is currently South America Hub Director at Wyss Academy for Nature and PhD Candidate on Strategic Management at the Consortium of Peruvian Universities (PUCP, UP, UL and UPCH).
