Since earning my MBA (2010), I also took on the role of Executive Event Producer for a nonprofit museum that was in a time of financial and managerial crisis. I overhauled the org structure and project planning of its large fundraiser event and in one year turned it around to sustainable profitability, with an initial annual growth rate of several thousand percent-- really!-- and over 150k in annual revenue. I also developed and built a PHP/MySQL database application for the museum. It has been incredibly rewarding. Specialties and loves: Keeping people happy and making a business case out of it. Looking at numbers. The algorithms of schedules. Balancing others' conflicting interests. Wearing many hats. Juggling many tasks. Communicating effectively at all levels and bridging gaps. Obsessing about verbiage for the sake of clarity. Crystallizing a vision and bringing it to people.
